Disney continued to figure out what to do of the Fox assets acquired in the merger, one of the biggest IPs, Deadpool gaining momentum. Sources tell Deadline that Wendy Molenkme and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin will write Deadpool 3, in which Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the intelligent-cracking Marvel superhero.
This is the first Deadpool where Marvel Studios will work with Reynolds and Team Deadpool. Fans are sure to be excited over the inclusion of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige as to how he helped recreate the Spider-Man franchise to help in the creative endeavor for that franchise.
Apart from Reynolds' return, a number of factors are being worked on, but sources say the film is still expected to be rated R like the previous installments. A new director is also expected; David Leach, who took the second photo, has a schedule of 2021. Insiders say the door is open for Leach's return when it is unknown when the film will go into production, but given that she was not part of the writer's search, it seems likely her return for Part 3 Is not.
